September 3- September 7

Monday-No School Labor Day.

Tuesday-Welcome Back to Wisconsin Dells High School.  Introduction.  3x5 inch notecards.  Supplies needed.  600 Notecards and notecard file.  Hand out textbook.

Wednesday-Pretest.  US History prior to 1865.

Thursday-Pretest scores.  Organize US History.  Break down into manageable pieces. Create Outline of US History.

Friday-Library.  Construct AP Fact Sheet from Official AP US History Page.

September 10 - September 14

Monday-Chapter 1 Old World, New Worlds.  Text Book Packet. Need spiral notebook.  Format.  Title page, Unit page and Chapter page.  Begin reading chapter in class and complete vocabulary segment of packet.

Tuesday-Lecture Day.  Discuss Vocabulary words, page number and explanation  Complete Review Questions.

Wednesday-Lecture Day.  Map Day.

Thursday-Quiz Chapter 1 and Map of Exploration Period.   Jeopardy.

Friday-Library. Begin construction of notecards.  Note card site.

September 17 - September 21

Monday-Chapter 2 First Century of Settlement in the Colonial South.  Textbook Packet.  Begin reading chapter in class and complete vocabulary segment of packet.

Tuesday-Lecture Day.  Discuss Vocabulary words, page number and explanation  Complete Review Questions.

Wednesday-Lecture Day.  Map Day.

Thursday-Review Day.  Chapter 1 and 2.

Friday-Chapter 1 and 2 Test. Homework packets collected.

September 24 - September 28

Monday-Chapter 3 The First Century of Settlement in the Colonial North.  Textbook Packet.  Begin reading chapter in class and complete vocabulary segment of packet.
